A performance to be proud of was dished up by KLSC in the Norfolk County FA Women’s Cup.
The King’s Lynn-based team romped to a magnificent 13-0 victory at Watton United in the first round, with goals coming from all over the pitch in an outstanding team display.
KLSC started the match at a relentless pace, with Bonnie Parsons, Holly Pitcher and Erin Mersseman all finding the net.
Lauren Moyse completed a first-half hat-trick to make it 6-0 at the break, as the visitors’ attacking play proved too much for the opposition.
The dominance continued into the second half with seven more goals bringing up the baker’s dozen. They came from Moyse 2, Parsons, Pitcher, Mersseman, Summer Mann and defender Viktoria Burkauskaite.
Team coach said Antonia Masson: “It was a complete team performance and a fantastic display of attacking football with excellent, skilful passing, strong formation and clinical finishing throughout the team.”
Player of the match Nikola Maslak produced a great performance in the middle of the pitch, controlling the game and helping drive the team forward.
Dersingham Rovers are also through to the second round after being awarded a bye.
