King’s Lynn’s Rising Star Jody Scott is celebrating a brilliant victory in the British Under-19 Final.
Scott lifted the national title with a 15-point maximum at Plymouth to underline his status as one of the sport’s big talents for the future.
To make things even better for the PSH Environmental Stars, his 16-year-old team-mate Cooper Rushen was in second place as the two fought out the title in Heat 17.
Both riders had scored 12 points heading into that race, but Scott got the better of things on the first bend and Rushen had to be content with runners-up spot.
Third was former Stars rider Luke Harrison, while Young Stars racer Ollie Binns scored a creditable five points.
Scott said: “There were so many emotions when I came back in. I was second last year, third in 2024 and finally I’ve topped it off in my last year in it, so it’s an unreal moment.”
