A West Norfolk business is asking people to nominate a local charity or not-for-profit organisation to receive practical support this autumn.
The Farmhouse at Fincham is inviting nominations from across Fincham, King’s Lynn and West Norfolk as it looks for its autumn 2026 Charity Partner.
Co-founder David Toulson-Burke said: “There are people and organisations doing remarkable work across West Norfolk, often without the attention they deserve.
“We want local people to tell us who is making a difference and how The Farmhouse could help.”
The Farmhouse plans to work with a different local cause every three months, providing support in kind rather than a cash grant.
This could include promotion through its website, social media and newsletters, suitable available space for an agreed activity, sponsored drinks for an event and introductions to guests and the wider community.
Members of the public, guests, staff and charities themselves can make nominations.
Suggestions should be registered charities or established not-for-profit community causes with a meaningful connection to Fincham, King’s Lynn or the wider West Norfolk area.
Nominations close on 10 October, with the selected partner due to be announced later that month and a programme agreed for the remainder of the year.
The Farmhouse, in Lynn Road, Fincham, has also launched Farmhouse Friends, a free membership club for people who eat and drink at The Pig & Peacock and Little Barn Restaurant.
Members can earn one point for every £1 spent on eligible food and drink, with every 10 points providing £1 towards a future eligible visit. The club also provides information about selected offers, menus and events.
Mr Toulson-Burke said: “Farmhouse Friends is our way of thanking the people who come back to see us.”
