Norfolk Police have released CCTV footage of a burglary that took place on a King’s Lynn retail park.
Police are appealing for help to identify a person they would like to speak to in connection with the burglary at Costa Coffee on St Nicholas Retail Park on Edward Benefer Way.
The footage shows a person running into the coffee shop after a car had been rammed into the front window.
The burglary took place at around 2.50am on Thursday, August 27.
A police spokesperson said: “A car was used to break the front window of the property, before a suspect gained access and stole cash from inside.
“The vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Mokka, was found abandoned a short while later on Camfrey. Enquiries established the car had been stolen from a property in Austin Street the previous evening (Wednesday 26 August).”
They said that following enquiries, they could now release CCTV footage of a person who may have information about the incident.
PC Ben Ward said: “While the person’s face is not visible in the footage, their gait and clothing may well be recognisable to those who know them. Anyone with any information about who this might be should get in touch.
“We also want to hear from anyone who may have seen anything or has further CCTV or dashcam footage that could help our investigation.”
A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with this incident and has been released on bail pending further investigations.
