A familiar fairy tale is heading to King’s Lynn this Christmas as Sleeping Beauty takes over the Corn Exchange for this year’s festive pantomime.
The family production will run across December and into the New Year, finishing on Sunday 3 January 2027. The story follows Princess Aurora as she searches for happiness, while the wicked Carabosse has revenge in mind and Prince Valiant faces the challenge of saving the day.
This year’s cast includes Scott Cripps as Chester the Jester, Harry Hart as Nurse Nellie, Alex Scott Fairley as Carabosse, Abi Fullard as Aurora, Paul Murdock as Prince Valiant and John Macneil as King Clarence.
Several members of the cast are already familiar with the King’s Lynn stage. Scott Cripps has previously appeared at the Corn Exchange in productions including Jack and the Beanstalk, Herbie the Huntsman and Cinderella, while Alex Scott Fairley has appeared in King’s Lynn as Abanazaar in Aladdin and as Prince Gallant and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast.
John Macneil, who takes on the role of King Clarence, brings an extensive theatre background to the production and has also appeared on television as Jacka Hoblyn in Poldark.
Produced by Jordan Productions, the show promises the traditional ingredients of a Christmas pantomime, with live music, special effects, slapstick comedy and plenty of opportunities for the audience to get involved.

A number of accessible performances are also scheduled during the run, including a signed performance on Saturday 12 December, an audio described performance on Monday 28 December, a relaxed performance on Wednesday 30 December and a captioned performance on Saturday 2 January.
Tickets are priced from £21 to £27, with selected Super Saver performances offering all tickets for £21.
