Players from throughout the club joined forces to celebrate another season at Downham Stow Cricket Club.
The junior, women’s and men’s sections gathered for the annual awards presentation evening.
Fin Wilcox won both the first XI batter and supporters’ player of the year award, while the bowler award went to Dan Cooke.
Will Denny was second XI batter of the year, Owen Stacey won the captain’s award and George Milton was bowler of the year.
The third team awards went to Jack Gould (batter), Ty Mahwire (bowler) and Ashden Knott (captain’s award), with the fourth XI honours presented to Sid Stacey (Batter), Alex Easter (bowler) and Olly Cooper (captain’s award).
The fifth/Sunday team batter of the year was Stan McGarrell, the bowler award went to Noel Stacey and Sonny Jackson was the captain’s award winner.
The u11, u13 and u15 junior teams received awards for progress, improvement, coaches’ player and team-mate award and they went to: u11 – Ben White, Harry Batterham, Freddie Sexton and Beau Esser.
u13 – Theo Adcock, Will Taylor, Fin Covell and Toby Ring.
u15 – Brad Carver, Oliver Fletcher, Sonny Jackson and Will Eagle.
The ladies hardball awards went to Emma Gabriel (batter), Milly Taylor (bowler) and Martha Braid (captain’s player).
Winners for the ladies softball team were Lants Stevenson, Freya Matthews and Emilia Stuart.
