Downham Town earned a 2-2 draw at Mildenhall Town in the Premier Division of the Thurlow Nunn League, despite a below par performance.
Mildenhall took an early lead but Tobi Lawal converted Nathan Davies cross to level.
The visitors were struggling to gain a toehold and fell behind again when Mildenhall capitalised on a mix-up between captain Matt Castellan and goalkeeper Charlie Congreve.
Despite struggling to find their form, Town hit back again to make it 2-2 at the break with Lawal cutting in from the left and smashing the ball home.
Neither side was able to add to the scoreline in the second half with Congreve pulling off a stunning late save to preserve Town’s unbeaten record.
