The local Conservative MP will fight to retain his seat at the next general election after being re-adopted by his local party.
James Wild MP has been re-adopted as the Conservative candidate for North West Norfolk at the next general election.
Mr Wild, who has represented the constituency since 2019, was backed unanimously by local party members.
He said: “It is a privilege to be the Member of Parliament for North West Norfolk and to be a strong voice for our area.
“I am delighted to have been re-adopted as, whenever the next election comes, there remains much important work to do in championing West Norfolk, ensuring further investment into our economy, helping constituents with issues they face, and making our area an even better place to live, work, and visit.”
Bill Irwin, chair of the North West Norfolk Conservative Association, said: “Our members strongly support James as he has shown through his hard work and commitment, his passion for helping local people and bringing more investment and opportunity to our area.”
