Drivers face delays on the A47 near King’s Lynn as essential surveys are carried out on the Great Ouse Bridge – but planned overnight closures have been cancelled.
The work will assess the condition of the bridge and help plan future maintenance.
Daytime lane closures will take place between Monday 9 November and Friday 4 December, with delays expected between the Pullover and Hardwick roundabouts.
National Highways said: “The night closures have been cancelled until further notice. We’re going ahead with the lane closure works only and further updates will be issued soon.”
The organisation added: “No diversion is needed but expect some delays.”
The closures are weather dependent and could change at short notice.
Drivers can check the latest information on the National Highways website.
