Autumn Artisan Fayre brings another boost for Norfolk and Waveney Mind

An artisan fayre in Upwell has raised £850 for Norfolk and Waveney Mind, taking the total generated by the event series to more than £6,300.

The Autumn Artisan Fayre was held at Upwell Village Hall on Sunday 25 October and was organised and sponsored by Louise and Simon from Blended Monkey.

It was the ninth Artisan Fayre the couple have organised, with the events now raising a combined £6,335.10 for the mental health charity.

The free-entry fayres bring together artists and makers from the local area and across East Anglia, with demonstrations, drop-in workshops, a tearoom and raffle forming part of the programme.

All profits from the latest event have been donated to Norfolk and Waveney Mind, with money raised through raffle ticket sales, tearoom proceeds and stallholder fees.

Raffle prizes were made and donated by artists attending the event, while a number of makers demonstrated their crafts and three workshops were held during the day.

Fanoggins Bakery also supported the event, with Zakiya preparing a selection of baked treats for the tearoom.

Louise and Simon thanked the artisans, visitors, friends, family and volunteers who helped organise the fayre, promote it locally and support the fundraising on the day.

They said they had been encouraged by the continued support for the events from both visitors and participating artists.

The next Spring Artisan Fayre is planned for Sunday 21 March 2027, with further details due to be published on the Blended Monkey website.
